From where can I download this app?

Android device users can download the app, PRESS.RED- FOR USERS ?from App section of Google Playstore. 

Alternatively access http://www.press.red. Click the Download button. You will get a form where you will be required to fill your name, email and mobile number, submit this. You will get a direct download link for the app on Google Play store. Click the link, download & install.

How can I create my account on PRESS.RED?

Download & install the App. Fill the registration form to create your account.

What it takes to register on Press.red?

We need your Name, Surname, E-mail, Mobile number and Address for your registration.

Can i register using my Facebook account?

Yes, you can use your facebook account to register yourself on Press.red. Your information gets auto filled. However you can edit and make corrections, if felt required.

Can i change or edit my profile at Press.red?

Yes, you can. To update your profile information, please click on the top right corner, click on " My profile".

On this page you can edit your: 
- email
- phone number
- address
- emergency contacts...etc.

Is there any charges for use of the app?

No, this user app is absolutely free for your lifetime.

Is it really important to complete my profile 100%?

Absolutely not. You can use basic features of the app- Safety, Ambualnce & Hyperlocal Healthcare Directory search after mere registration. We recommend 100% profile completion so that our Artificial Intelligence (AI) system can get you the preventive, social health, insurance offers, health camps, health awareness programs, health kits, safety kits and much more to you... for your complete well being.  

What is One Time Password (OTP) ?

It is a unique 6-character (OTP- One Time Password) code that can only be used once and is sent only to your registered mobile number or Email id to verify the authentication. You will also be required to enter the correct OTP to complete the login process. OTP provides another security layer of online protection for you. If your user ID and password have been compromised to a fraudster, the login process will not be completed without the correct OTP that is sent to your registered mobile number.

What should I do if I do not receive OTP on my mobile number..?

One Time Password (OTP) would be instantly sent on your mobile /email id as per details entered by you. If you do not receive the OTP, please check if you’re mobile /email id entered by you is correct or not. If the entered details are correct, you can request for the OTP to be re-sent to you by clicking on the link in the below message displayed on the screen-‘Resend OTP’. You can get maximum 3 chances for the OTP. Still if you face problem, please immediately write at techsupport@press.red and one of our experts will contact you to resolve the issue.

How do I add Emergency contacts in PRESS.RED?

You can add Emergency Contacts by using your phone book. Alternatively you can add them manually by filling & submitting the form which requires their Name, Surname, Mobile number and E-mail ID.

How many Emergency Contacts can I add to my account?

You can add upto 5 Emergency Contacts. These are your permanent emergency contacts.

Can I add my emergency contacts without their Email ids?

Yes, you can. However, we recommend that you provide their e-mail as well, just in case it helps a record of all communication & information exchanges between you two.

Is it mandatory to upload documents.?

Yes. It is mandatory to provide self-attested copy of all valid documents to complete the KYC norms.

Can I delete/ change my emergency contacts?

Yes, you can go to Menu bar, access My Contacts list and change or edit any information you want to.

I have a new Android phone and a new SIM card. How can I reconfigure my account?

Well if you have the same mobile number, you can log in using your number through existing user field. If you want your account be shifted to a new mobile number, you will have to write to techsupport@press.red for shift of your account.

 

Are my details secure and confidential?

ABsolutely Yes. We do not share your details with anyone for any reason.

Do i have to keep the Location feature of my handset always on?

We recommend, you put location feature on for best results of app use. Location is critical when it comes to rescue in situations of emergency- be it safety or ambulance.

What should i do if i am facing some technical issue while using the app?

We first recommend trying the following steps:

- Toggle your WiFi, data, and airplane mode on and off 
- Close the app and reopen it 
- Log out and log back in 
- Force quit the app
- Perform a hard reset by turning your phone off and back on 
- Phone: Reset your network settings. (Please note that this will delete any saved preferences or passwords you have.) Go to: Settings, then General, then Reset, then *Reset Network Settings.*
